BTFP : a LaQ® associated workshop igniting positive change (for Group Leaders) at Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., BEPZ, Sri Lanka
This three hour LaQ® associated interactive workshop for Team Leaders included three activities, three facilitator discussions and a wrap-up review. Participants were invited to list and brief on two pre-workshop questions and moved on to igniting thought provoking ideas, challenging the participants to problem-solve in varying conditions, encouraging a group/ team based engagement and a complete review and feedback for improvement. In addition, a post-workshop survey was shared for detailed reporting, suggestions and further improvement.
Key activities included • Group activity 1 - Artefact building • Group activity 2 - A reward based productive competition • Facilitator discussion 1 - Problem solving. Arriving at the best solution. The importance of thinking creatively/critically/ laterally. Team vs Role. Role identification. Self- realization and containment • Facilitator discussion 2 - Are we speaking different languages at work? Segment on different personalities, how they communicate and be motivated • Group activity and facilitator discussion 3 - Further discussion on teamwork, leadership, building trust, fulfillment and winning through self belief, enjoying the work • Concluding remarks
